A Couple of Things...

Okay, so I know I already posted today, but I need to ask/tell you guys a couple of things. First of all, yesterday I got 20 followers... Today I have 19. That is really weird! I don't see anyone missing!? Ugh! Sometimes Blogger can be really annoying, and I think most of you know how that goes! Okay, so now I have to tell you guys some things.

1. I would really like it if I could get some guest posters on here. I think it would be really fun! I have three {Kiley, Ali, and Belle}, but I would really like some more. Email me.

2. I would also really like to have a giveaway. If you would like to sponsor me, email me. If you do sponsor the giveaway, I will advertise your blog or business on my blog.

3. I'm really excited right now! I am going on a family trip soon. Well... not with my older brothers, but it is still with the family! After that, I go to camp! I'm SO excited... that's why I would like some guest posters.

And what would a post be without pictures??

Recently, I have been taking flower pictures... like hundreds!! I've been away at different houses with different flowers, so I have some more flowers to show you!
 There's a LOT more coming! :-)
Again, I would really love it if you would volunteer to guest post or sponsor a giveaway. Thanks!
Have a wonderful day!

Bible verse of the week #10

When I read this Bible verse, I ask myself, "Where did Jesus get this parable from?" I get an idea as I read through the Bible. John is not the only place that Jesus talks about the vine and branches. It is also in Psalm and Ezekiel.(Ezekiel 15:1-8)

Psalms 80:15-16 "And the vineyard which thy right hand hath planted, and the branch that thou madest strong for thyself. (16) It is burned with fire, it is cut down: they perish at the rebuke of thy countenance."
Don't you love it when the Bible gives you clues about the Bible? I love that! Jesus says that He is the true vine. Jesus is the vine through whom God sends God’s people grace, life, nourishment, and ability to bear fruit. Jesus is the stem in which we who are the branches find fulfillment and life. (from THIS website) I really like this Bible verse because it is so popular and well read. There are a lot of Bible studies out there that cover this just this verse. I encourage you to go read them. Here are two very good websites about John 15:5- http://adventbiblestudy.wordpress.com/2011/04/09/the-vine-and-the-branches-john-15 and http://www.bookoffaith.org/pdf/john15.pdf.

Strawberries!

At my house, we grow strawberries. And at a certain time of the year, they grow. They start as flowers, then they are yellow strawberries, after that they're green, and finally, they turn red. Strawberries are a very unique fruit. They are the only fruit (recorded) that has seeds on the outside.

Strawberries have on average, 200 seeds. That is amazing! God really, truly must have loved making this very pretty {and delicious} fruits.

Strawberries are the first fruit to ripen in the spring.
There is a museum in Belgium just for/about strawberries.

Strawberries are a part of the rose family. Weird right?
Over fifty three percent (53%) of 7-9 year olds say that strawberries are their favorite fruit.
In a test, subjects who ate nitrate rich foods like strawberries, before exercising burned 100 more calories than those who did not.
Strawberries are low fat, low calorie; high in vitamin C, fiber, folic acid, potassium
One cup of strawberries is only 55 calories.
If all the strawberries produced in California in one year were laid berry to berry, they would go around the world 15 times.
California produces an amazing one billion pounds of strawberries each year. 23,000 acres of strawberries are planted in California each year.
Do you grow strawberries? Who picks the strawberries? I hope you learned something on this post! I've been really busy! I babysit 3 days in a row AND I just had a sleepover. I hope you life isn't as crazy as mine! :-)

Babysitting

My life has been surrounded by babysitting. I babysit day in and day out! I absolutely LOVE doing it, but it can be a little tiring. Another good thing is that the more I babysit, the more money I get toward my camera. Here are some pictures of some people I babysat/babysit.

This is Jordan.
 This is Maddie.
They have the coolest swing set! No wonder they were on it almost the whole time!
 They're such cute kids! ;-)
 And they're talented too!
I love the sun flair on her hair! SO pretty!
I absolutely love the pictures of these kids in the corn field. They make the picture look really cool!
If you couldn't tell, or didn't know, they are twins.
She's such a cute little 2nd grader! haha!
They were really fun to photograph!
 Gotta love mama's kisses!
Wow... his nose is kind of gross but his eyes! They're so cute!
 This kid is a-d-o-r-a-b-l-e!!!!

I hope you enjoyed looking at some cute kid pictures! Do you get to babysit? Do you like babysitting?

Bible verse of the week #9

"For we, though many, are one body in Christ, and individually members one of another." Romans 12:5 ESV

That is very true! We are all different people, but we are still all members of one body in Christ. Live your life for the Lord, and only the Lord, Jesus Christ.

Happy Birthday!

On Sunday, it was my younger brother Luke's birthday. I just thought I would make a post honoring him. He is such a good, nice brother! You would not believe how talented he is!

My brother is fun to play in the lake with!
I always love checking up on him to make sure he's okay...
 He's SUPER smart!
He can beat me in any card game.
Sometimes he can be a pig, but I still love him.
He has the most adorable face! (this is from a year and a half ago... I just couldn't resist not putting this picture on here!)
He loves getting presents from me. (or in this case, my parents.)
 He can be weird...
 ... and annoying,
but he always is smiling and thinking of something to do.

And he is the best younger brother I will ever have!

Happy Birthday Luke!

Father's Day

Happy Father's Day! Are you doing anything special? Did you do anything special? I just want to mention how important and special my dad is to me. He brought me to school everyday. He taught me at least 2 classes. He brings me home from school. He is a great Christian. He has a mind set on God. He does everything for good. He fixes anything that is broken. He does laundry every week for my family. He cooks the most fantastic meals! And he is the best dad I will ever have! Here are some {old} pictures of my dad and I... I would have more, but the computer that has most of the pictures of us on, has a virus, which of course my dad is trying to fix!

I believe this was on Easter.
 Christmas
 (sorry that it's sideways...)
This is on Thanksgiving.

Thank you dad for being the best dad in the whole wide world!!!

Rain photos

The rain is back. We had so much sun for days, but now the rain is back for the next week or so. There is an upside to rain though! I have a waterproof camera so I love to go and take pictures in the rain. :-) Here are a couple of the pictures I have taken in the rain.

I have to start with my favorite picture. It's SO pretty! I wish I could capture this kind of photo every day! :-)
This one is really cool because you can see the rain drops perfectly on a multicolored leaf.
More Irises. I just like how this picture looks. The backround is kind of blurry with brings out the flowers. The water droplets also give a nice effect to the flower/photo.
Lime green! No way! I love how you can see the rain drops perfectly and the other leaves in the backround give the picture more depth.
I like this one because you can actually see the rain falling! The bad thing is, is that it's really blurry.

Do you like the rain? Do you have a waterproof camera? There are more picture in the rain coming!

New haircut

Last Saturday I got a haircut. I personally love it! I love it because my hair looks and feels so much healthier. My hair is always soft now! :-) I love that feeling. Here is a picture of my hair before I got a hair cut... ignore my weird face...

...and here my hair after my haircut.

Do you like my hair cut? Do you like it when you get a hair cut?
