Neighbor's Trees

My neighbor's have the cutest little fruit trees! Every year a little something comes from the trees that just looks so prosperous and beautiful!
This year, my neighbors took extra care of their fruit trees and I could definitely tell. I had a few of their pears from their pear tree and they were delicious!
These pictures were taken a while ago, so they aren't this pretty anymore. :(
Hopefully they will still be here next year {they're thinking about moving}, so that I can see all of their lovely fruit {and the family} again!
Do you have any fruit trees?

P.S. Happy Reformation Day! This is one of many good youtube videos. :) http://youtu.be/dt5AJr0wls0

Sophia Joy | One Year Party

You have seen baby Sophia a lot around this blog, and I was so happy to be asked to photograph her one year party. The party consisted on close friends and family. There were a TON of cute kids, which I wish I could have photographed separately as well! As you can tell, she has the cutest smile. She also has some super cute older siblings that I will post about in an upcoming post.

Which picture is your favorite?

End of School Party 2012

Last July, the 7th and 8th graders at my little, private school all got together to say out last goodbyes before we all spit and go to high school {at least for the 8th graders}.
This night consisted of football, sardines, and ghost in the graveyard. And of course, food.

One of the things we did was burn some of our old school papers and workbooks. This was one of the first outings I had with my 50mm, so I was still getting used to it. Overall, I really enjoyed being able to spend some time with my friends and just hang out.

Zach | 2012 Graduate

These are just a few of the pictures that I took of my older brother Zach. He has now graduated and is working hard in college. I miss him like crazy these days, but I'm really looking forward to seeing him for Thanksgiving. We took these pictures on an early, summer day. We got to the location a little later than I wanted to, but we still got some pretty light. I haven't done many senior portraits before, so it was good that I had to opportunity to "practice" Zach. :)     Do you like taking portraits at sunrise?

I'm Back!

Hello Friends!!
I'm so excited to be back into the blogging world! After a long, unexpected break, I am SO ready to be back. One of the main reasons I went on a blog break was because the computer that I blog on was broken, which means that I couldn't access or upload any of my photos. My dad fixed it a little while ago, and now I have a whole new design and a bunch of posts lined up for you. Go check out my tabs as they may be a little different. I want to thank Arianna for doing my beautiful design yet again. She is such a sweetheart and I'm very thankful for such an amazing friend. I hope you all are as excited about me blogging again as I am. :P Welcome back to the new and improved "The Road's Journeys."
