Chocolate Chip Cookies {how we really make them}

 This is supposed to be a fun post, so even if you don't want to make the recipe, I added a lot of fun little things that we all obviously do. Oh and just a heads up, I added a lot of smiley faces and other funny faces. :D To start, turn on the radio and grab your ingredients.

Ingredients: 
  • 1 cup margarine or butter
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 package (12 ounces) semisweet chocolate chips + maybe some more ;)
I forgot about the sugar...whoops! :P
 1. Mix margarine or butter, sugars, and egg.
2. Grab flour without making the hole worse... :P
3. Stir in flour, baking soda, and salt.
It looks like a teaspoon, but it really is only 1/2 a teaspoon.
4. Stir in chocolate chips
5. Turn up the radio because your favorite song is on.
6. Grab a little bit of the cookie dough.
7. Eat it! {unless your parents advise you not to}
8. Grease your pan.
9. Put teaspoon full of cookie dough (or is it batter?) on your pan.
10. Put in oven
11. Set timer for 8-10 minutes (I realized that less time worked better...)
12. Start pan 2
13. Take cookies out of the oven, put pan 2 in the oven, set timer. 
14. Take cookies off of pan and put on a towel. 
15. Take out your camera and shoot some picture of these beautiful creations that you made. :)
 Ohing and ahing yet? Just you wait!

16. Finish the rest of the cookies. Change radio station... we can't listen to country the whole time! :P Turn off oven
17. Grab the milk out of the refrigerator
18. Check expiration date (we all do this, just admit it)
19. Now get a glass and pour your milk.
20. Grab the cookie with the most chocolate chips... and again, we all do this.
21. Take a bite
Look's amazing, right?
22. Take a sip of that cold milk of yours. And smile, because it's pure deliciousness!

Fall 2011 {continued}

Do you remember THIS post? Well, that just scratches the surface of fall. Here are some more pictures that remind me of fall.

 1) Scarves
It is definitely scarf season. I only have a few fashion scarves, but they are fun to wear! (and keep you warm in the cold weather)
 2) Heated Mattress Pad
For my 11th birthday, I got a heated mattress pad because I have the coldest bedroom in the house. I thought it was time to take it out because I am cold already!
 3) Cookie Baking
With cold weather comes indoor activities. Baking is SO much fun to do on a cold day!
 4) Football
Whether Little league (my younger brother), Varsity (one of my older brothers), or flag football in gym, I am a total sucker for football. My dad is a coach and all of my brother have played on a team. I just love it!
 5) Hot Chocolate
Ahhh! I love hot chocolate! I have been having it a lot and I mean, a lot, lately. It is so good! 

The picture is fuzzy looking, but I think it looks kinda cool, but that's just me. 
6) Sunsets
Just as in the summer, fall also has beautiful sunsets. When I took this picture, one minute the sun was in the sky, the next it was like this, and then the sun was down. It was beautiful to track how the sun was facing me.
