When You're Stopped For 20 Minutes Because of a Train

Haha! I love my title. :-) Okay, I'm done laughing now.

 Pretty fall colors!!!

 Leaves.

 I took a few pictures of these burrs because I got bokeh in every one! Yes! I love it when that happens because I have a point and shoot and it doesn't happen very often.

 Yeah, so as the title said, my mom and I were waiting at least 20 minutes before we could go past a railroad track. We were on our way to my brother's half marathon. We parked and then we had to walk the rest of the way.

 Okay, so I took a lot of pictures of the burrs. :D

 The sun was just beautiful!

 And here is the train that we waited for... for a long time.

 It was worth the wait, when you get these awesome pictures, and then you could walk across the railroad track and get a cool picture like the one below.

Fall 2011 {continued}

Do you remember THIS post? Well, that just scratches the surface of fall. Here are some more pictures that remind me of fall.

 1) Scarves
It is definitely scarf season. I only have a few fashion scarves, but they are fun to wear! (and keep you warm in the cold weather)

 2) Heated Mattress Pad
For my 11th birthday, I got a heated mattress pad because I have the coldest bedroom in the house. I thought it was time to take it out because I am cold already!

 3) Cookie Baking
With cold weather comes indoor activities. Baking is SO much fun to do on a cold day!

 4) Football
Whether Little league (my younger brother), Varsity (one of my older brothers), or flag football in gym, I am a total sucker for football. My dad is a coach and all of my brother have played on a team. I just love it!

 5) Hot Chocolate
Ahhh! I love hot chocolate! I have been having it a lot and I mean, a lot, lately. It is so good! 

The picture is fuzzy looking, but I think it looks kinda cool, but that's just me. 

6) Sunsets
Just as in the summer, fall also has beautiful sunsets. When I took this picture, one minute the sun was in the sky, the next it was like this, and then the sun was down. It was beautiful to track how the sun was facing me.

 A few weeks ago, my school had their annual marathon. Here are the pictures that I took at the beautiful park that we were at.

Fall 2011

It's about that time of year again. The time where everything changes color and the weather gets a little cooler (especially here in Minnesota!).

1) Outfits  

It's that time of year where you bring out bulky sweaters, jeans, and sweatshirts. I wear them almost every day! It's almost like getting a whole new wardrobe because you haven't worn them for so long. But trust me, these will soon be old to me.

2) Leaves

The leaves are changing. We have already had a day that had frost on the ground. :( Yes, it's sad, but I kind of like when weather changes. Why? I really 

don't know. :D

3) Flowers Dying

   Sadly, flowers are dying. I'm really upset because they are my favorite things to take pictures of! What am I going to do? Yes, I will find something to take pictures of, but all of the vibrant flowers are going to be gone! :'( 

4) Walnuts falling

All of our walnuts are falling off of this one tree. They are all over! Luckily, people hardly ever go by that tree because it's in the corner of our yard. 

 

5) Crops

The last of the crops are being picked. Not only tomatoes, but a lot of corn is still being harvested in the fields. 

 6) Tree

I took this picture because in a month or so, it will look totally different. I thought this is a good way to "document" what a tree looks like and changes.

It's amazing how much life changes around you!  I hope you have a fantastic fall even with school.
