Bible verse of the week #8

This week's Bible verse is from John 1:3.

The Lord has been SO good to us! Think about it... He made every little thing on this earth; from caterpillars to high-rise buildings. I encourage you to go look at THIS website. Watch the video "The Awe Factor of God." It is at the bottom of the page. It will only take you a few minutes. If you watched it, isn't it breathtaking? I read that book "Crazy Love." I highly recommend it. It was very good!! I would read it again! I hope you all get the chance to realize how amazing God it!

New Design with random comments...

Hey everybody!

How do you like my new blog design? I changed like EVERYTHING! I personally like love it! It's purply pink, my favorite! I thought the other blog design was looking a little bit sad... so I pumped up the blog! Haha!! Right now it's raining. My brother's friends are also over so I'm just hanging out by myself. Last Sunday, I was in a really big ceremony. I achieved my Girl Scout Silver Award. It doesn't seem like a big deal, but it will really help you when you start looking for colleges. On Monday/yesterday, I started theater camp. It has been keeping me busy for hours and I come home and take a nice nap before I {usually} have to babysit! I've been pretty busy lately! Guess what?!? I get to splatter paint tomorrow! I'm so excited! You know what I love about this post? I am mentioning very random things. You know what else I love? Followers! Please tell people about my blog! I will be more excited to write on my blog if I have more followers. Did I tell you it's raining? I know I did, but this post is random right? Living random is the best!

This song I've been hearing a lot because of drama/theater camp. It's kind of inspiring...

Shopping!

Yesterday I went shopping with my mom. It was SUPER fun!! I don't get to go shopping very often, especially for me. We were essentially looking for a swimsuit, but we spent 5+ hours and we did not find a swimsuit that I wanted and fit right. :( I did get some very cool things though! We went to multiple stores and other places including: the library, Macy's, Barnes and Noble, Micheal's, Claire's, Kohls, Sam's Club, Fantastic Sam's, Once Upon a Child, ect. My mom went to some of those stores when I was in another store. I surprised her with a cookie I bought at Barnes and Noble! :-) So here are the things I and my mom bought:

 My new shoes from Kohls. They were the last one there so we got a nice discount.

I got this headband from Claire's. I've worn it twice already! It goes with a lot of outfits.

*Note* All headbands from here on are from Claire's.

I had to add blue into my wardrobe of headbands somewhere. I love blue and this headband looks awesome!

A very simple headband can be good sometimes! This one is just a silver sparkle.

I love this one because it's silver and black and there's a flower on it! A perfect combination!

 My {large} new pajama pants from Macy's. They were on clearance, but they were a size or two bigger than my size... but they're pajama pants, it doesn't matter, right?

 Another clearance shirt at Macy's. This shirt was returned by someone without the price tag, so we got it for cheaper than regular price!

 Something about this shirt is really pretty. I really like. It's {again} from Macy's and on clearance.

And of course more headbands from Claire's. They were having a deal so I got a lot. I also had a gift card.

Prom Pictures

Here are the pictures I took from my brother's prom last week. It's hard to believe he can go from the gym to prom... amazing! :-)

Bible verse of the week #7

This weeks Bible verse is from Proverbs 18.

First of all, can't you just see the resemblance? That is my brother on prom night. I will be posting more of those pictures ASAP.

I read this Bible verse today in my daily reading and it just jumped out at me! The beginning of the verse goes like this: One who has unreliable friends soon comes to ruin, but there is a friend that sticks closer than a brother. I like this verse because to me it symbolizes that my friends are really truly special to me. I love my friends. They are my family. We are all part of God's family. We are brothers and sisters in Christ! {maybe I'll do that verse next week! :-)}

I think I over edited it, but it looks really cool now! :-) The sprinkler was under my trampoline and a rainbow was showing so I took this shot and it looks cool! That would explain the grassy part.

Photoshoot with Elianna

 A neighbor, a friend, a schoolmate. This is Elianna.

 Elianna and I carpool every morning during school. One day, before school, I took her pictures and they turned out fantastic! :-)

 Our school just got new swings and everybody loves them!

 Her eyes are so blue! I LOVE them!

 She's such a good person to take pictures of!

 It was Elianna's idea to go on the bars.

 Bless this girl's heart! She let me take pictures of her, even in really cold weather. It doesn't look cold, but it was!

 She definitely looks like she's shivering! Poor girl!

 I don't know what her shirt says, but I love it already!

 I love how relaxed she is in these photos! Good job Elianna!

 The picture above is my favorite! The backround just compliments the whole picture. I love it! And when you add a pretty girl to the picture, it can't get much better!
